Fracture Characteristics of Thick-Roof Coal Roadway Subjected to Duplicated Shock Waves

چکیده

Rock burst is one of the most serious risks for underground coal mines, and associated dynamic waves generally cause roof falls large-scale shrinkage roadway. The roadway often seriously damaged by duplicated rock bursts. Previous research on propagation attenuation shock cannot explain well failure mechanisms surrounding under waves. To fill this gap, paper presents comprehensive fracturing process roadways affected repeated using field tests numerical analysis. A model as per UDEC Trigon logic was developed calibrated mine earthquake waves, during which a user-defined FISH function adopted to document quantity characteristics fractures (i.e., shear-slip tension). damage assessed based fractures. At same time, simulation analysed evolution trend zone fracture development area, agreed with tests. According spread extension in new support materials schemes were proposed applied at site. results show that scheme has controlled deformation effectively satisfied safety efficiency requirements mine.

MULTI FRACTURE/DELAMINATION ANALYSIS OF COMPOSITES SUBJECTED TO IMPACT LOADINGS

A combined finite/ discrete element method is presented for modelling of composite specimens subjected to dynamic/impact loadings. The main task is set on developing an algorithm for simulation of potential bonding and debonding/delamination phenomena during impact or general dynamic loading conditions. In addition, full fracture analysis can also be performed. The proposed approach adopts a ge...

Instability leading to coal bumps and nonlinear evolutionary mechanisms for a coal-pillar-and-roof system

This paper studies the unstable mechanisms of the mechanical system that is composed of the stiff hosts (roof and floor) and the coal pillar using catastrophe theory. It is assumed that the roof is an elastic beam and the coal pillar is a strain-softening medium which can be described by the Weibull s distribution theory of strength. It is found that the instability leading to coal bump depends...

Thermoelastic Analysis of Rotating Thick Truncated Conical Shells Subjected to Non-Uniform Pressure

In the present work, a study of thermoelastic analysis of a rotating thick truncated conical shell subjected to the temperature gradient and non-uniform internal pressure is carried out. The formulation is based on first-order shear deformation theory (FSDT), which accounts for the transverse shear. The governing equations, derived using minimum total potential energy principle, are solved, usi...
